About Us
Textile Takeback is a Staffordshire-based textile recycling business on a mission to keep clothes out of landfill — and put cash back in your pocket.
Our Story
Textile Takeback was founded with a simple idea: unwanted clothes shouldn't end up in landfill when they still have value. Based at Whitebridge Estate in Stone, Staffordshire, we collect and process textiles from individuals, businesses, charities, and landlords across the region.
We pay you on the spot for your unwanted clothes and textiles — wearable or not. Wearable garments are sorted and graded for resale through charity shops, vintage markets, and export channels. Non-wearable items are processed into industrial rags and wiping cloths, ensuring nothing goes to waste.
Whether you're clearing out a wardrobe, emptying a property, or managing a large commercial load, we make the process straightforward: bag it up, drop it off, and get paid the same day.
@textiletakebackZero Landfill
Every textile we collect is either resold, repurposed, or recycled. Nothing we take in ends up in landfill.

We pay competitive rates by weight, on the spot. No waiting, no invoices — cash in hand on the day.

We're based in Stone, Staffordshire and proud to serve our local community and the wider region.
Simple Process
No sorting, no washing, no appointments needed for most loads. We keep it as easy as possible for you.
Why Textile Recycling Matters
The UK sends an estimated 300,000 tonnes of clothing to landfill every year. Textile production is one of the world's most resource-intensive industries — and most of what gets thrown away still has life left in it. By choosing to recycle your textiles with us, you're directly reducing that waste, supporting circular fashion, and helping keep Staffordshire's textile footprint as small as possible.
